Space, the final frontier…

Well, it sort of is when it comes to dining experiences at Disney World. So far there has never been a space themed restaurant on Disney World property. That soon will change!

Last year at D23, it was announced that a new space themed restaurant will be coming to Epcot. It will be operated by the Patina Restaurant Group who runs several other amazing restaurants including Tutto Italia and Via Napoli found at Epcot as well as Morimoto Asia which is found at Disney Springs.

This new property will be built between Mission: SPACE and the Test Track attractions.

Guests will get to travel to what seems like a space station and look out at the stars. From the early concept art, it seems that alternating scenes will be displayed for guests. One of which includes an astronaut that waves to visitors.

I’m excited to see what food this restaurant will offer as it should definitely feel very different to food found currently around Epcot. If done correctly, Epcot will continue to provide a very wide variety of food and will stay the foodie paradise of Disney World.
